Email marketing is an area that naturally changes and evolves over time (much like social media). In today's article, I've compiled some noteworthy statistics regarding email marketing spanning the time period of January 2013 to the end of June 2013.

In a report conducted by Vision6, they analysed data from over 265 million messages which were distributed via 90,000 sends. These were predominantly Australian-based companies. The statistics are in relations to the 6 month time period between January - June 2013.
